Question 1

Are the sample questions really free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every exam has a free sample bank with answers and explanations. Half of it is open to anyone, and the other half unlocks with a free account. Nothing is blurred or teased.

Question 2

Why do you ask for my email before the free questions?

Accepted Answer

So we can send occasional exam tips and offers, and so your first session is not lost. You can unsubscribe at any time, and the email is not shared.

Question 3

What does a free account add?

Accepted Answer

The rest of the sample bank, saved progress in study mode so you can stop and resume on any device, and your attempt history from timed mode.

Question 4

I already have an account. Where do my exams live?

Accepted Answer

In your dashboard. Sign in and open My exams to launch any exam you own, are assigned, or have sampled.

Question 5

What are the three modes?

Accepted Answer

Study mode shows the answer and explanation one tap away, with flags, notes and bookmarks. Timed mode shuffles a deck against a clock and saves a score to your history. Flashcards put the question on the front and the answer on the back.

Question 6

Does my progress save?

Accepted Answer

In study mode, yes, after every answer, as long as you are signed in. Timed attempts are saved when you submit. Anonymous sessions are not saved, which is one reason to create a free account.

Question 7

Why are some questions locked?

Accepted Answer

Locked questions are outside your current access. Samples give you a slice of the bank; full access or a membership slot opens all of it. Tap a locked question to see the options.

Question 8

Can I use the simulator on my phone?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The simulator opens on its own page with nothing else on screen, and the question navigator sits below the deck on smaller screens.

Question 9

What does full access include?

Accepted Answer

Every question in that exam's bank, with explanations, in study, timed and flashcard modes, plus shuffle and downloads where the exam offers them. It is a one-time purchase for that exam.

Question 10

How is a membership different?

Accepted Answer

A membership is monthly and keeps 2 to 4 exams active at once in exam slots, from $49.99 a month. You can change which exam fills a slot at your next renewal. It suits people preparing for more than one exam.

Question 11

Which exams can I put in a membership slot?

Accepted Answer

Eligible active exam simulators appear in the search on your dashboard's Membership tab. Select an available exam for a slot.

Question 12

How do I update my card or cancel?

Accepted Answer

From the Membership tab in your dashboard, use Manage billing and card. It opens a secure billing portal where you can change the card, download receipts or cancel.

Question 13

Which payment methods do you take?

Accepted Answer

Cards through our secure checkout. We never see or store your card number.

Question 14

Why call it Exam Dumpster?

Accepted Answer

Because "dumps" is what people call exam question banks, and these are the finest. The name is a joke. The questions are written to the current objectives, explained, and corrected when you report one.

Question 15

How current are the questions?

Accepted Answer

Each bank is mapped to the vendor's published exam objectives and updated when they change. The exam page shows the last update and the versions in the bank, and retired exams are marked rather than hidden.

Question 16

I think a question is wrong. What do I do?

Accepted Answer

Use Report a problem under the question in the simulator. Reports go to a person, and corrections ship within days.

Question 17

Can I download the questions?

Accepted Answer

Where an exam offers them, full access includes a PDF and a study guide, available from My exams in your dashboard.

Question 18

I cannot find my exam.

Accepted Answer

Search by code or name from any page. If it is genuinely missing, tell us through the contact page and we will look at adding it.
